Itinerary Details

Port Blair – Havelock Island (8 nights and 9 days)

Andaman Islands are a large group of nearly 600 islands in the Bay of Bengal. These islands are one of the few amazing islands in the world, which have lots of hidden natural beauty on land as well as in deep sea also. Water is clear at these beaches, which gives a very good visibility. The islands exist in India's popular consciousness mainly because they were used as a penal colony by the British rulers to imprison rebels and freedom fighters, in addition to hardened criminals. Most of the inhabitants of these islands are in fact migrants from the mainland, some of them being descended from the prisoners.
